HeyHippocrates Clinical decision support

Who writes the knowledge base, and how a source gets in.

HeyHippocrates is physician-facing clinical decision support built by Sagan Labs with a founding vascular neurosurgeon. Each specialty has its own knowledge base, written and signed by a board-certified specialist in that field and reviewed by a second one before it ships.

A source gets in when it is a named guideline, a landmark trial or a standard reference — cited by body and year — and a specialist has red-penned the answer that uses it. Answers state the decision rule and what data is missing; they never conclude when the evidence does not.

The knowledge base is reviewed on a fixed cadence and whenever a major guideline changes. Names of reviewing physicians are published only under signed agreements; until then, roles.

HeyHippocrates is not a medical device. It does not diagnose or treat, and gives no patient-facing advice. The physician decides.
